WHAT WE BELIEVE
Everything we believe flows from Jesus — who He is, what He's done, and how His Spirit empowers us to live.
Jesus
Jesus is the Son of God and the centre of everything.
Through His death and resurrection, we are forgiven, made new, and brought into relationship with God.
• John 14:6 — “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
• Colossians 1:17–18 — “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together… so that in everything he might have the supremacy.”
The Bible
The Bible is God’s Word.
It reveals who God is and helps us understand who we are in Him.
• 2 Timothy 3:16 — “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching…”
• Psalm 119:105 — “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”
Salvation
We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus.
Salvation is a gift we receive, not something we earn.
• Ephesians 2:8–9 — “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith…”
• Romans 10:9 — “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe… you will be saved.”
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit lives in every believer and empowers us to live a new life.
He leads us, strengthens us, and reveals truth to us.
• John 14:26 — “The Advocate, the Holy Spirit… will teach you all things…”
• Acts 1:8 — “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you…”
Spiritual Gifts
We believe the gifts of the Spirit are alive and active today — including healing, prophecy, and speaking in tongues. We welcome the Holy Spirit to move among us.
• 1 Corinthians 12:7–8 — “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given…”
• Mark 16:17–18 — “These signs will accompany those who believe…”
The Church
The Church is a family.
We grow together, support one another, and walk through life together.
• Acts 2:42 — “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship…”
• Romans 12:5 — “In Christ we, though many, form one body…”
Healing and Miracles
We believe God still heals and moves in power today.
We expect to see His goodness at work in people’s lives.
• James 5:14–15 — “Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders…”
• Hebrews 13:8 — “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
Identity in Christ
We believe believers are sons and daughters of God.
Our identity is grounded in what Jesus has done.
• 2 Corinthians 5:17 — “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come…”
• Romans 8:15 — “The Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship…”
Growth and Maturity
We believe every believer is called to grow.
As we walk with God, we become stronger, more secure, and more like Jesus.
• 2 Peter 3:18 — “Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord…”
• Galatians 5:22–23 — “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…”
The Kingdom of God
God’s Kingdom is active today.
We are called to live in it and bring His life into everyday life.
• Luke 17:21 — “The kingdom of God is in your midst.”
• Matthew 6:10 — “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
